कभी कभी
मुझे ये खयाल
आता है
कि…
किंचित ही सही
शब्दों को सजाने का
गर कौशल न आता
तो क्या होता!
मेरा ये जीवन…..
मानो होता कोई बंजर
जमीन का टुकड़ा
जहां न पैदा होता
अन्न का एक दाना
न ही
जंगली फूल ही खिलते हैं…..
नीरस होता
जीवन
जैसे तपता रेगिस्तान
दूर दूर तक पसरी खामोशी
मीलों सन्नाटा…..
या फिर
दो-चार ठूंठ लिए
बियाबान में
अकेला खड़ा
कोई सूखा पेड़
मगर…
शब्दों ने
भर दिये
मेरे जीवन में
इंद्रधनुषीय रंग
इस तरह
मेरे जीवन को
अर्थपूर्ण दिशा देने में
